Three ways into one machine. A browser needs nothing installed.

On a Mac, the browser is the only way in. TallyPrime is Windows-only, with no Mac build announced. Cloud Access is how a Mac office runs Tally at all.

What secures Tally's Cloud Access

Two credentials. A Tally.NET ID plus a Secure PIN.
Automatic encrypted backup from the first connection, with self-service retrieval.
Selective Data Sharing. An access type per data folder: allowed, disallowed, or allowed only within TallyPrime. This is how you stop the person doing GST returns opening a company they have no business opening.

On our hosting, we run the security ourselves, to set procedures, from the firewall to backups every 24 hours. Here is all of it.

Our own hosting, for when Tally's packs do not fit: a user count between two of them, or more memory than the next one up gives. From ₹600 a month, quoted to your user count and configuration. It needs a TallyPrime licence, as theirs do. If one of Tally's packs fits your number, we will tell you to buy it.

Plenty of hosts sell "Tally on Cloud". The cheap ones get cheap by skipping the parts that keep your books safe. Ask any host about each line below.

Questions

How much does Tally on cloud cost?

Tally's own packs start at ₹600 a month and are priced per user;pick your user count to see the total. Our hosting is quoted to your user count and configuration; see what it covers. GST is extra on both.

Is Tally on cloud safe?

On Tally's Cloud Access, each person signs in with two credentials and you decide which companies they can open; the details are above. With any other host it depends on what they run, so check them against this list.

What happens to my data if I stop paying?

The hosting stops. The licence does not: it is yours, and perpetual if that is what you bought. Retrieve your data through the Self Service Portal's backup before the subscription lapses, not after, and ask us to walk through it with you if the machine is the only copy.

Ask it of anyone quoting you hosting, us included.

Can my team use it from different places?

Yes. On Tally's Cloud Access, each person gets their own Tally.NET ID and Secure PIN, and Selective Data Sharing decides which companies they can open. On our hosting, they sign in through a Remote Desktop (RDP) app or a browser.

Does Cloud Access replace my licence?

No. It is a machine to run your licence on. You need a TallyPrime licence first, single-user or multi-user. If you do not have one,the licence page is where that decision is. Cloud Access does not includeTSS, which is renewed separately.
