On a Mac, the browser is the way in. TallyPrime is Windows-only. Cloud Access is how a Mac office runs Tally at all.
What secures it
- Two credentials. A Tally.NET ID plus a Secure PIN.
- Automatic encrypted backup from the first connection, retrieved from the Self Service Portal.
- Selective Data Sharing. An access type per data folder: allowed, disallowed, or allowed only within TallyPrime.
- Third-party sync only for the users you allow.

How much does Tally on cloud cost in the UAE?
Tally's Cloud Access starts at AED 63 per user per month, for the hosting alone. You also need a TallyPrime licence.
Where is my data kept?
On AWS, in a data centre in the UAE, on a virtual machine for your business alone.
Can my team use it from different places?
Yes. Each person gets their own Tally.NET ID and Secure PIN, and Selective Data Sharing decides which companies they can open.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
The hosting stops. The licence does not. Retrieve your data through the Self Service Portal's backup before the subscription lapses, not after.
